A world without honey
Or honey without bees
A world without flowers
Or flowers without petals
A world without stigma
Or stigmas without ovules
But if all these must be
Pray may I have
Just one wish
A perfect world
One without pollens
For without pollens
Days of sorrows
Shrink
Days of dyspnea
Wane
I can exhale
And inhale
With no cares
In the world
And the drips
From these nostrils
Can take a break
Without pollens
I can join the folks
That burst with joy
At the triumphant
Entry of spring

Yay! New poem! All my sympathy goes to all the pollen allergy sufferers. If only you could share my unbounded joy for spring too.

It has snowed so much here that the pollen is covered up. During the one brief day of sun, my husband’s allergies went bonkers. We have sympathy for you. Glad to see you posting again.

Thank you so much. It got me thinking that the snow days are not so bad. I could use a lot of snow to cover up the pollen here right now. 🌸🌺🌼

I hope you feel better! Maybe Spring will find a way around renewal of health and spirit, even though pollen and allergies have become synonymous with the season.

Haha a good poem, my sympathies ! I suffer from those allergies too but enjoy nature too much to let it bother me, even if constant sneezing can get annoying sometimes ! Great post !

It’s sad. People take joy in all that the persona does not want. Too sad
