I need my alone time

And wish you would give it to me

 

When everything is silent

I wish you would pause the discuss

 

Stop reminding me about yesterday

And giving  the reasons to be downcast

 

Stop bordering me about tomorrow

And asking me to stay distressed

 

Can I get a moment to focus

My energy on just the present

 

Dear little voice of reasoning

Be still and  give me some peace

  3. A lovely piece, too often we forget to live in the here and now, why I don’t know. Someone once said that worry is the interest of a loan not paid…… what is the point of worry about tomorrow or the day after that. I myself have worried instead of TRUSTING in the higher force. Great post.
