A thousand waves

Will not question my pneuma

A million tides

Will not see me abashed

.

They may siphon my schemes

But I will never be drained

They may brew a storm

I will not be drowned

They may engulf my coast

And garnish my territory

But never my destiny

.

They may build a dam

Or break a bridge

And bedew my frame of purpose

My spirit will not be dampened

If they slay my energy

And ruin my resort

My resolve remains undaunted

.

I will come again

Despite the roaring

I will rise again

Despite the pounding

Above the tides and storms

My will of steel

Will not succumb

.
