You won’t give me the wings

Until I take a leap

Or show me the route

Unless I take a plunge

You won’t get me a flight

Until I rid my fears

Or get me to ride the  highs

Unless I learn to plop

You won’t set me a sail

Until I splash my fright

Or give me the triumph

Unless I lose my trophies

You won’t teach me the lessons

Until I take the tests
