Can you look past my current state
Without two pennies to front as mate
My Pounds are placed in stocks and a future
The fortunes will rise with time and nurture
Can you look past my teeny pile
Without legs or thighs high as a mile
Beneath this dwarf layer of height
Lies a mountain of ideas that are bright
Can you look past the hair that I wear
Without the texture that brunettes bare
Below these locks that are not in vogue
Lies a character that is not a rogue
Can you look past the pigment that I lack
Without the tan that comes with black
Behind these irises that are pale and blue
Lies a mind that sees no hues
